Cheryl’s people-first philosophy is grounded in Lean management. While holding senior leadership roles at Sweetheart Cup, Parco Foods, and Flying Food Group, she was the chief architect behind the companies’ successful transition to continuous improvement cultures.
The author of Let Go To Lead and Lean Human Resources: Redesigning HR Practices for a Culture of Continuous Improvement, her work addressing the people aspects of building top-performing organizations is augmented by her deep experience in operational transformation and structured problem solving.
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Human Resources (with an emphasis in Industrial Relations) from Loyola University Chicago. She’s currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Development and Change at Fielding Graduate University.
