Cheryl’s people-first philosophy is grounded in Lean management. While holding senior leadership roles at Sweetheart Cup, Parco Foods, and Flying Food Group, she was the chief architect behind the companies’ successful transition to continuous improvement cultures.
Cheryl’s also the author of Lean Human Resources: Redesigning HR Practices for a Culture of Continuous Improvement, now in its second edition. The book represents Cheryl’s experience in commitment to building Lean HR as a recognized field of work. Her work addressing the people aspects that are central to building top-performing organizations is augmented by her significant experience in operational transformation as well.
Cheryl holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and a Master’s degree in Human Resources (with an emphasis in Industrial Relations) from Loyola University Chicago.
