Abdul Hasib has over 25 years of experience working with multinational companies in the United States, South Asia, South East Asia, and Middle East. He brings a broad range of experience and expertise in product design, process development, operations management, Lean system design & deployment, manufacturing operations setup and startup, supply chain management, facility maintenance, and renewable energy projects.
Abdul started his Lean journey in the late 1990’s in Indonesia, where he led the design and deployment of Mattel’s first Lean system, which became a bench mark for other Mattel facilities around the world. The two-year transformation from traditional manufacturing to Lean management resulted in tangible results, such as reduced safety incidents, throughput time, WIP (work-in-process), and scrap—and improved productivity, product quality, and space utilization.
Since leaving Mattel, Abdul Hasib has continued to lead Lean transformations in manufacturing, office, and service environments with companies such as Hino Motors Manufacturing, Saudi Industrial Development Fund, and Schlumberger.
Abdul Hasib earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from California State University Northridge, California.
